Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Congratulations Robin and WBH! I'm so happy for both of you.

Tom, I'm sending ultrasonic waves to crush that kidney stone into a bajillion little pieces. In the meantime, take all the morphine they'll give you.

Jen, I thought of you, on Friday I got my pelvic exam

Heh. How much do I love that my friends think of me when they're getting a pelvic exam? Lots and lots and lots. And three cheers for anatomic correctness!

It is so freaking beautiful out right now. I was having my coffee this morning on my balcony and two hawks were doing long leisurely floats in circles right above my head. At one point they were so close I could see facial features. (Er, what do you call a bird's face, anyway?) It was lovely.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's pork and beef meatballs and tater tots, skewered and hand-dipped in a breaded batter and served with a cup of creamy mushroom sauce for dipping.
I can't tell if I am just terribly hungry or if this actually sounds intriguing.

I think I need a nap soon too. But first I am waiting for the rice to finish so I can throw together some casserole. I suspect at least one portion will be eaten quickly before I can even brown it, cause hungry hungry me.

It really is. I just got home from dropping msbelle at the bus station, and I walked a bunch of the way home...ok, not really, but I did walk part of it. I was even pleasant to a poor international guy that was totally lost in Boston. Had him follow me to Downtown Crossing to get him back on track.

Just talked to someone interested in the couch. They're on their way to come look at it. Here's to hoping they like it and take it away.

My landlord was actually surprised at how normal-sized it was. He's not upset at all about it being on the porch, which pleased me greatly. He said that based on my message he was expecting it to be much bigger.

ION...

Jen, just read your Beep Me post and thought, "Oh, yeah, she'll have to be back for school to start on the 5th." Only, you won't! You lucky girl!

All is well that ends in pizza.

{Sending couch sales vibes to VW.}

Yes, no more school for me!

Of course, I'm working three 12-hour shifts on the 28th, 29th, and 30th, spending the 31st through the 4th in SF, and working again on the 5th. I am going to be totally worthless on the 6th.

I'm getting the pig!

Dear interested person - You've been looking for this particular couch your whole life. It is your OTC and you must have it. Pay the lovely vw whatever she asks for it and haul it away from the porch. KTHXBYE!

OMGWTF! So much trauma and drama and excitement going on with the 'ffistas. Thank effing goodness that Tom is home from the ER, that JZ is possibly getting to go home tonight and a big WHEEEEEE for Birthday Girl and also newly married Robin!

Phew. This place is bad for my blood pressure. If I had high blood pressure. Which I don't. So not actually bad, I suppose.

I guess that means I get to stick around.

I napped earlier and had a dream that Andi and I visited the SF bay area and fell in love with it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yeah, Daniel. That's how it happens.

It's good you're sticking around, Nicole, we'd miss you, else.

Man, now I want msbelle to come shake my house into shape. Of course I'd have to get rid of DH to get rid of all the clutter. Because it's *all his*!

You believe that, right?

Yay for Tom being home, for JZ maybe getting to come home, and for Robin's terrific birthday news! Happy Birthday, and congratulations and best wishes to the both of you!
