'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And
Happy Birthday, Mrs. WBBFH!
The resident we met on Friday just came in and dropped a vague hint that I might be going home today, but that nothing was settled. So now I'm just waiting for her, or anyone, to come back and talk some more with actual details.
I got Ambien at midnight last night; after an evening of watching the Halloweenie's heart rate jump between 90 and 180, interpreting every twitch and twinge as incipient labor or placental collapse, and working myself into a state of quiet despair that I wasn't going to go home still pregnant and Hec would have to spend today running back and forth betwen the ICN and the recovery room and the phone....Ambien. And long, sleepy sleep, and a steady nonwobbly fetal heartbeat and the promise of a bath and maybe going home TONIGHT.
Can I change my vote from Matilda to Ambienna, please?
Tom, I hope you get some medical magic soon and that you feel better.
Thanks for the good wishes everyone! One thing about taking less than a week from proposal to ceremony is that I'm so not used to the idea. I keep looking at my ring and going, whoa, I'm married. 'Tis nice.
Can I change my vote from Matilda to Ambienna, please?I think, in this crowd, we would fall down to worship her. Which we'll likely do anyway.
So glad that you got some rest, JZ. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I keep looking at my ring and going, whoa, I'm married. 'Tis nice. That is just lovely.

Happy Birthday Married Lady Robin!
Wow, a crazy couple of days around these parts! Happy to see JZ posting and bored... glad you got some sleep, and my hat is off to you for braving all the needles on top of all the Halloweenie scariness.
Happy to see the Bayistas rally around each other.
Yay, for sucessful moving and unpacking! Go you, vw!
Much ~ma to Calli and her family.
OMG ROBIN SO AWESOME! I'm really happy for you both.
Oh, no Tom- kidney stones are the suck... recovery~ma to you.
"I know all about the cervix! Ask me how!"
Jen, I thought of you, on Friday I got my pelvic exam and my doctor was checking things out and said, all suprised like, "oh! wow. You're very anatomically correct!" which I thought was hilarious. Distracted me from the exam for a few minutes at least.
Yesterday was a computer free day, and involved the farmers market, the Salem Martime Festival, and our farm's summer festival. Today, once I drag myself away from the internet, I must finish up me final project (an annotated bibliography) for class. Last class on Tuesday! Whoo! Freedom till September!
Also, am looking forward to hearing of Emily's tale of adventure with Juliana. Something tells me it was LEGENDARY.
