Mostly lurking...

How pathetic is it that it's almost 9pm, and I just now gave in and turned on the air conditioner? I just can't stand it anymore. I made it all day. You'd think I could make it now that it's cooled down outside. But, it's 82 degrees in here, and it's just too damn hot.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Backwards:

What's pathetic about it? It builds up. And it'll take a while for the inside to cool down to match the outside.

EEWWWW!

I'm so sorry! What's going on?

Peace ~ma to you and your family, Calli.

Job ~ma to Brenda.

Ewwwwwwww to Zenkitty. I think that a really good shake, followed by a close inspection, followed by another really good shake, should be fine. But no one would blame you if you decided to wash everything, because ewww.

Hec, your post in Beep Me nearly made me cry while I was laughing. Don't do that. I'm glad that JZ and the Weenie are in good shape. Lots of hugs to you both.

Damn shame about the Pogo finals, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, and thanks, y'all. It's always been kind of crazy, but the last few months it's just been ugly, and I really need to find a way out.

Dear lord, I was coming in here to grump, but feel terrible having read Beep Me. Poor JZ and Hec, how stressful!!! But so very very glad that I first read the GOOD part of the story!

I was feeling ungrateful about the grumping anyway--apparently someone mysterious sent me a package (edit: at least, it had BETTER be for me!). Overnight delivery. Except whoever it was, sent it overnight to my HOUSE. Which, (a) I'm not at during the day anyway, and (b) I was in Florida.

Mostly I'm annoyed at UPS. They only deliver in the middle of the day, and only on weekdays? WTF? AND, my only option is to go pick up the package in LANDOVER (which is fucking far away)--and I have to do it between 8AM and 7PM on weekdays? How is this convenient at ALL???
