[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was just about to offer my coffee maker up for use!
That would shut them up. I hope?

Women's voices can hit that shrill teenaged place way too easily. And by "too easily," I mean "at all" because glasses were about to explode in my cabinets.

Thankfully, they've stopped smoking and gone back inside. Or away. Either works for me.

I finally feel like my head is firmly remaining on my shoulders instead of exploding and I feel less anxious about life in general.
So glad for you. 'Splodey and anxious are bad ways to feel.

What is even happening?

DH came home early from work to give me some much needed rest. I finally feel like my head is firmly remaining on my shoulders instead of exploding and I feel less anxious about life in general.

Thank goodness. It's way too hard to do what you do everyday, with a big sleep deficit.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

ZMAYHEM UPDATE:

Just talked to Hec, and he says that the bleeding has stopped. The docs think it was a mild placental abruption. JZ is okay, Halloweenie is okay, and the docs are being very conservative in their treatment, which means the overnight and/or weekend-long hospital stay, but everything looks five by five.

The offer to go over and feed Hec G&Ts and JZ nummy preggo-appropriate treats has been made.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY

Let me know if you need a hand with this on Sunday.

Or me, tomorrow. vw says I'm a good hospital visitor, apparently on the virtue of my reading math books. But I can not do that too, and just carry stuff instead.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

J, I'm obviously a few thousand miles from being able to provide treats, but do pass on my hugs and best wishes to both Hec and JZ!

Mostly lurking...

Oh, so glad to hear good news! Still sending ~ma, though.

vw says I'm a good hospital visitor,

She is. And lord knows I've given her plenty of practice!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Let me know if you need a hand with this on Sunday.

I can help as well, assuming I don't have family obligations.

Excellent. It was probably when the Halloweenie went all Olga Korbut.

You San Franciscans rock. You know. I was thinking that earlier about Lee, making a home for Emily until she gets settled (and doing the same for juliana, before), and you're sort of making my allergies act up. Darn it.
