Jeez, don't get all Movie of the Week. I was just too cheap to buy you a real present.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I can't tell you how much you all are helping me right now.

Sure you can! Just measure on a scale from badger to mushroom.

More {{{{Kristin}}}}, just 'cause.

I'm very excited. I just made an appointment to go see the Roslindale apartment one last time before making an offer. Wheeeeee!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

You know what I hate? When a supposedly good friend does something thoughtless and/or shitty and when you call them out on it, they say "oh, I'm sorry, I knew you were upset with me, but I had no idea why". This is bullshit. The last time we communicated, I called you on your crap, you said 'oh, i'm a bad friend' and that's supposed to make everything okay?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Much coping and getting-through-it-ma to both you and your grandma, Kristin.

Bleah, Vortex. Even without specifics, that's still plenty enough to offer an informed opinion that it does indeed suck.

Librarian Warlord

Yay for exciting apartment happenings!

Vortex, that does suck. I suspect that your friend is trying to avoid the issue because s/he knows it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

{{Kristin}} Much -ma for your grandma.

vw, I got the cookbook today! Yay! I had no idea they were so adorable.

Kids have finally conked out on me and I should be sweeping up the piles of dog hair on my floor.

Because books.

Much ~ma for you this week, Kristin, and extra ~ma for your grandmother.

Good luck, vw!

Kids have finally conked out on me and I should be sweeping up the piles of dog hair on my floor.

I could vacuum daily right now, Lucy is shedding so much.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy Birthday, Plei!

{{Kristin & Family}}

Today is a Monday. Rant ahead, feel free to skip.

I am so fucking tired of my job. I'm on deadline for installment #4 of Big Project. I keep getting nibbled to death by little projects for coworkers. I took care of every single little project last week so I could devote 90-95% of my time this week to Big Project, which is due the 26th.

I come in this morning and get hit with something else for the chairman. The CEO says, it looks pretty quick. Ummm..nope. I've spent all day on half of it and I'm still not done. I will finish it probably tomorrow late afternoon which means I've now lost 2 full days off of Big Project. Which also means that a planned 65 hour week just turned into a 75-80 hour week.

I honestly don't know how much longer I can cope with this kind of workload. I've been working full tilt since February (meaning anywhere from 55-95 hours per week and working HARD during those hours) and I just can't do it anymore. I've broken down twice today (er, make that 3 times since I'm sitting here crying now). I'm just totally spent and it's mainly due to other people not getting their shit together and forcing extreme deadlines on top of my existing deadlines.

Oh, fuck, ChiKat. That sounds completely impossible, with the crazy hours month after month and the deadlines and the dependence on hopelessly undependable people. And the crying at work on top of it all. That's just fucked. I wish I had some advice to offer besides get out get out GET OUT.
