[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

GC, I've been sick as a dog all week and I recommend avoiding it if you can. I'll do my best not to cough on the internets.

I got the Cold-eeze. Damn those bastards are expensive! $7.50 for 18 lozenges!! Even the guy that sold them to me was like, "Whoa! I'll leave off the tax for you since they're so pricey." Still bought them, though.

Mostly lurking...

Heading to bed now. Big day tomorrow. The sky is celebrating this exciting moment with potential hail. I'm thrilled.

If I don't get a chance to check in in the morning, I'll check in tomorrow night after everything is done. I'm supposed to have DSL ready, so YAY!

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I'm sad to report that I did not get the job at my alma mater that I was hoping for. I thought I had a pretty good chance, but apparently they picked someone else.

I didn't burst into tears when I opened the letter, so.... I think I've grown as a person.

  • turns back to booze*

What is even happening?

Go booze. Choose booze.

and it turns out that I am what I drink: the coffee label says "Full-Bodied, Snappy, Bold, and Deliciously Sweet."

Ooh, that's a fun way to be described!

Every time I close my eyes, I have this horrid fantasy that someone is up there staring down at me, and then I have to open my eyes and make sure it isn't true.

Eeek, I've had that feeling before. I hope you get over it quickly! (OTOH, at least you're moving!!)

n conclusion, let's all make out with Fay.

Good plan!

a wedding of a fellow church member that they went to/were in this past weekend where the bride & groom had their first kiss when they were married!

I can't even imagine! Also, wouldn't they be REALLY BAD at it all? Though I guess it would give the honeymoon added excitemnet, which might make up for it. But still.

The bad part is, I have them for my local service (with never a problem) and have been considering getting DSL through them

Eh, I know a lot of people have issues, but I've had their DSL in three different places over the past five years, with like, one problem the entire time, and that was like, a day of outage.

What, exactly, could "electrical appliance" mean? Hmmmm....

I think it means Joe should buy you a vibrator. Or maybe a ROOMBA!

Happy Anniversary, Aimee and Joe!

Poor sj!! I hope it all works out OK, but how awful!

I read an icky icky article about someone getting an infection from a pedicure, and how they went around testing those whirlpool baths and they were bad, and now I'm scared to get another one. But I want one, cause I love them. Damn you, science magazine at work!!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Aillean, sorry you didn't get it. DH used to have a policy at their college house, bring a rejection letter, get a drink. Our friend showed up once on his doorstep in tears. He never asked her what about, he just broke out the bourbon. Turns out she'd been rejected from her first choice PhD program but he didnt' find that out until they'd been drinking for four hours.

GC, they're spendy but worth it. They really can fight off colds.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think I just felt my first earthquake!

It was a 4.4 with the epicenter almost 80 miles away, but we definitely had some light rumbling and shaking down here. My cousin remarked on it, and I joked that it was an earthquake, and then we saw the Breaking News, and it was funny.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I missed an earthquake? Where was the epicenter?
