Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

'Unleashed'

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Also with the sleeves rolled up.

I loved this part. Sleeves are usually an inch or two too short on me, so the rolled up fashion worked great for me.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok. No luck finding a black blazer that will cover my ass on eBay. Must to be trying the thrift shops.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

A shoulder-duster earring in only one ear.

I miss those. I know, I know, but still. I really liked them.

Other Things I Miss: free time, a work day without an emergency or stress, sleep, and my sanity.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Also very 80s would be a square-shouldered, ass-length jacket over leggings, with no shirt under the jacket. A shoulder-duster earring in only one ear.

Christ, the contents of my entire 80's wardrobe in only two sentences. I still had some of those jackets in my closet up until last year. Not that I'd worn them in hella long time, but they were still there. And the shoulder-duster earrings, I was addicted to feathers in primary colors.

move out and draw fire

Rockin' A's game - we "watched" it on the internets this morning.

A shoulder-duster earring in only one ear.

I miss those. I know, I know, but still. I really liked them.

Wrod. Although, I just bought a pair of shoulder dusters that are a pair, but aren't the same (one is a long wire with a circle and stone at the end, and the other is a long wire with the circle in the middle...I can't describe them.)

billytea? Anybody? What kind of monkey is this: [link]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Awww. Pretty boy!

And I love ass-up sleeping Mal. I used to sleep like that when I was a little kid, with my nightgown all bunched up around my shoulders. My mom would have to come in in the dead of night to readjust the nightgown and push my ass back down so I wouldn't fold myself in half or topple off the bed or something.
