I'm still the cat's favorite, right?

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Nope. I'm the new favorite. (evil laughter)
ALL your Nicole is belonging to ME.
Big fun: Casper, Wyoming. Joking about setting the prairie on fire. Then discovering it's Cheney's hometown and deciding to Do Bad Things there instead.

I'm glaring at you. You can't see me, but I am.
Also, planning my next visit.
Nicole is clapping and jumping up and down. Me, I am having a Midori Sour and thinking about watching a bunch of Angel DVDs.
Cash, I wanted to thank you for mentioning that Labyrinth was playing in town... I took my friend K to see it for her birthday, and she hadn't ever seen it on the big screen. We had an excellent time. I get major Excellent Birthday Present points!
I've gotta say that David Bowie and his Really Tight Tights got a few laughs with our crowd. There were a few "Hi, I'm Jareth, and this is my Package" moments, and the moment where Hoggle throws himself on Jareth's tender mercies got (shockingly) a HoYay laugh. (Were there other 'ffistas there?)
::jealous::
My iPod expired in our heatwaves. It's still under warranty though.
P-C, if it speaks to you, put a deposit on it NOW NOW NOW.

EXCELLENT. I went to the Sunday afternoon showing in Grandview--and I ended up going alone and spilling half a diet coke down my white shirt. I had a great time, nonetheless. Glad you went! I hadn't seen it on the big screen before either and I did love it more. Bowie's delievery of his lines still stands up to the test of time. He was simply incredible.
We'll have to meet up for something fun like this sometime.
I took DH's laptop upstairs (disconnected from the internet) so I could work without distraction. A few lovely hours on my pretty spreadsheet. I think this is going to turn out nicely. I was able to mine the data I needed from the Access database and use it in the spreadsheet I had already created. It's going to be lovely. I just hope it's what Job Guy wants.
If things pan out, I'll be able to replace this ancient desktop with a new laptop and write it off on our taxes. I'll need to do this because right now, I can only do this work on DH's work laptop since he's got all the software I need. Old Bessy won't support it.
Sorry for the taunt and run. I was making drinks and then jumping and clapping thanks to Lee's taunt and conning a big kitty out from under my bed and throwing a stuffed hedgehog down the hall for the dog. (Katie may be a little allergic to the dog, though.)
Oh, and making sure I logged out of my laptop before Katie got hold of it. That's the important part.
But while I'm here - I must say that I've been very fortunate to have so many wonderful 'ffistas visit my little corner of the world. Very fortunate indeed.
