(There's also a rather good Kirk/Spock vid, but...yeah. God. The Angel/Spike is one of the hottest things EVAH. And so fantastically beautiful too - really, the editing is
amazingly
good. Just - wow. And all the hot hot naked hot naked vampire naked hotness...gah.)
::is dead::
Although I confess the Angel vid I remember most is "My West Hollywood Lifestyle" cause it's funny.
There's a Mr. Brightside vid - Angel/Buffy/Spike that's prety damned great.
Found it, played it.... and I think my slash-o-meter is broken! I mean, oh yeah, there's hotness aplenty, and it's very well done, but...
Did I lose my slash goggles? ::looks around::
"My West Hollywood Lifestyle" cause it's funny.
I was just singing this yesterday! So. Funny.
I totally had that song in my head the other day.
Every straight woman should have at least one gay boyfriend: Who else can we go to Barbara Streisand movies with?
Huh. I seem to use mine mostly for sports.
...so I'm watching
Supernatural
and I'm enjoying it really quite a lot (although there's a lot of jumping and startled squeaking going on, because I am Very Jumpy Indeed), but one thing that just boggles my mind is how often the stories seem to hinge on thrill-seeking teenagers going to check out the big ol' spooky haunted building to see if there are ghosts there. Or whatever. This isn't every episode by a long chalk, and I don't mean to criticise the trope - it's just that I cannot understand people doing that. It's up there with Ouiji boards in the 'But why the hell would you DO that?' stakes for me.
I realise that YMMV, but from my POV, either (a) there are no monsters/ghosts/whatevers, in which case you are wasting your time, or (b) there
are
monsters/ghosts/whatevers, in which case WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WAVING A SIGN AROUND SAYING 'COME GET ME'????
::is utterly baffled::
Mind you, I'm equally baffled by people who go on Day Time Television to air their dirty laundry and call their relatives freak hos and the like. Clearly many people in this world are Not Me.
no fair talking about vids and not providing links. I'm stuck at practice again and need to avoid homework.
BTW it is 107 here. Last practice of the summer season. The girls are supposed to wear team colors to practice. Any non-perscribed colors earn running laps. Half the team is wearing green and pink - most decidedly NOT team colors. The head coach is not here yet...
I need a gay boyfriend.
That said, let's make out.
It's only 105 here.
Swelter. I should go down by the water where it is always cooler, but that would mean getting dressed. It's sad when Lazy trumps Hot.
I think the possibility you are missing, Fay, is that there aren't monsters/ghosts/whatever, but if we pretend that maybe they are it's sort of thrilling to put ourselves in mock danger and show how brave we are. Maybe. I have found Supernatural to be a little too scary for me to watch at night, so, not something I personally subscribe to.
