[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Beth, it is just best not to know. There are days I curse the digital thermometer in my car. I know I can turn it off, but it is THERE...and must be paid attention to.

I looked up Huntington Beach for the weekend - more hot.

And DH gave me grief for asking him to pick up more sunscreen.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

no biscuit for him.

however, in random happy events, one of my friends from the coffe shop brought in a tin with Buffy on it for me. I think it was one of those that had holloween candy in it. It makes me very happy

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

We DID.

We were running around ComicCon trying to find certain people and avoid others. You were speaking at a very popular panel and I was having trouble finding a seat. Then there was food. And some long philosophical discussions that, could I reproduce them, would surely come off as stoned-like, but at the time I was completely charmed and engaged. I also remember coming off as quite intelligent and grounded. (OBviously a dream!)

Kristen was there and thought you were teh BOMB.

THAT D

an hour passes

THAT DREAM RULES.

I was catching up on my other online communities, and then I got called into a meeting, and I returned to discover I'd never actually finished posting here.

Thrive to spite them

I went to the dentist today. I have a decayed wisdom tooth that needs to be removed...I feel like an idiot for letting my teeth get that bad. Especially when I realized it had been 2 years since my last cleaning. I thought it was just last summer. I have an appointment to get my teeth cleaned at the end of August.

While I'm getting the one bad tooth removed the dentist recommended I get all my wisdom teeth removed. I don't know when that's going to happen (if I go back to being a temp I can get dental insurance). The hygenist explained that right now all the oral surgeons are pretty much booked up because during the summer all the college students get their dental work done before they go back to school.

Even though I'm not in pain I did end up with a scrip for painkillers in case my tooth bothers me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Best to go to email now if it is anything I need to answer soonish.

Cass, nope. I was just going to give you a hint to my lyrics quiz. This one: Melissa Etheridge is on there twice in fact.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Morning, Lovelies!

I just think more people should do stuff in their jammies. For the greater good.

After the Masquerade, we walked to 7-11 for drinks for our room. I went in my pajamas (black yoga-ish pants, rainbow-striped spaghetti-strap tank), plus purple hair and loads of glitter. Just for you, -t! ('Course, it was Hollywood Blvd. at two in the morning. I don't think anyone gave us a second glance).

I do that all the time P-C. And worse, my system has the nerve to erase some fairly brilliant prose on my part if I get called away for too long. I curse the fact that I never learned to use a scratch document when the creative juices flow.

Askye, oooh good luck with the wise molars. I had mine out at 23...with no novacaine. (needle phobia) May the process be much easier than you can imagine!
