Oops, I thought she was your niece. In any case, she's gorgeous.
AmyLiz, you have cool friends.
Fuffy ,'Storyteller'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You skinny little skipper. This is our Cousin!Nicole who just visited over the last weekend. She is but 18 and has been suffering the torments of uncool Sacramento.

I was so, so confused. I thought, "When did Nicole move to the Bay Area? Is there a Nicole around to hug me at all times now?" But I agree with AmyLiz that your Nicole is pretty and cool.
AmyLiz, you have cool friends.
I do, indeed.
I have to skip to the end to share my joy at HAVING MY COMPUTER BACK!!!
YAY!!!
Yay computer!
Yay cake!
I need to add movies to my list of Movies That Affected My Life As a Teen: Poltergeist, Buckaroo Banzai, Blade Runner, and Real Genius. In fact, I may have chosen my college based on the fact that RG was filmed there.

Hec, your cousin is adorable.

Is this like ::headdesk::?
ION, I think this is where the Slings & Arrows pimpage was. OMG SO GOOD. I was so distracted that I forgot to call my mother when I said I would. I think that any claims that Paul Gross is 47 are completely unfounded, or at the least unfair to many of his age-peers. Also, it's now clinched that I can never meet PG in public, because I will either become a drooling idiot or... do something else that's inappropriate in public.
Also, I want to see the cast provided actually doing Hamlet.
oh, she's a cutie, Hec!
Welcome back, JenP!
Nicole looks lovely, Hec.
I'm back from my interview. It's been seven years since my last one, so I honestly don't know how it went. We talked for about an hour. The interviewer was easy to talk to. I was told that she'd probaby be sending me some more questions by email (which sounds promising) and that they'll be interviewing several people (which sounds more don't get your hopes up-ish). Oh well. I was able to get through it with a minimum of stuttering or going blank on tricky questions like, "What do you do for a living now?" And I think my summer weight black suit with a cream shell and black opal stud earrings worked well. This was the first time in about a year that I've worn heels, though, and I thought I was going to break my neck going down the stairs. Just two inch heels. I suck at femme.
Still, thanks muchly for the ~ma, folks!
