Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Anyone here? I need to finish up work, so clearly I need distraction.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday Cass! I hope you are having a wonderful day.

{{all round}}

Much peace and coping ~ma to you and yours Zenkitty. (which I just spelled Zenkilly which is just wrong)

{Emmett} Bobby gets a raging headache then throws up followed by deep sleep for many hours whenever he does sugar. He pretty much avoids it on his own at this point. Sometimes he gets fooled by deceptive labels. Like the sports drink that has 12g sugar per serving in the 3 serving bottle.

I was supposed to be at a party an hour ago. The kids drove their bikes over and we will follow on our bikes, but DH is still cleaning the garage. He says he wants a sane garage for Father's Day.

OMG, I feel so sorry for this couple on a show called "This House Has Got to Go." A tree has caused them to have to have their house gutted and the foundation replaced because of the root system. Three-quarters of a million dollars to fix it.

What is even happening?

It's the DSL.

Glad I've got a cable modem. Even better when the city installs city-wide WiFi. Hmm, now I'm wondering just what is under the State Capitol.

A hellmouth under their house, I think...those get expensive. :)

My motivation to do laundry has managed to make itself known, only because my brain decided that doing the other stuff I had planned for the evening sounded less fun (shouldn't have been--going out--but my brain is feeling crazy this evening).

I have done 3 loads of laundry, and have another three in the washer. I shouldn't OWN that many clothes, and yet those six loads are only *maybe* half my clothes. The idea at the moment is to get allllll the clothes clean, and then do some serious winnowing. I have so many cltohes I forget things I have, and never wear them. Which is sad.

Always Anti-fascist!

In my case, has been fairly true, but I've also been watching "Smoke Signals." Seemed a good Father's Day Weekend choice with that forgive your father speech at the end.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

peace~ma for zenkitty and family.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

A tree has caused them to have to have their house gutted and the foundation replaced because of the root system.

Maybe they should build a treehouse to live in since the tree has at least proved it's vigorous.

RTFO!

Emmett slept much of the afternoon in the approved Bobby mode. Was groggy and floppy when we went out to dinner with Alex and Kris and Baby India. Had two bites of bland, buttered pasta and ran to the bathroom. Voided (the rest of last night's food) and felt instantly better. Ate his dinner and half of mine.

We had a lot of fun with them. India remains the sweetest baby ever, crawling over on top of JZ's preggo belly and laying her head there. Alex, Emmett and I went to the stadium and threw around our nerf vortex football until we were sweat bombs.

It's nice to see them again so soon after the Sacramento tournament. I think they made an effort to get into the city and cement the newly re-established connections, and it was successful.
