Anyone around? I'm bored stiff sitting in a rehearsal.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, we watched the fourth episode last night, and Robert started having nitpicks, which means he loves the show very much indeed. Then he spent about 20 minutes trying to find a Slings and Arrows webpage or fansite or anything.
I'm loving it just as much on rewatch, although the disappearance of Geoffrey's Theater Sans Argent crew is making me even sadder.
I'm going to have to watch that show aren't i?.

It just gets better on rewatch.
Season 2 is a whole different critter, but it's also wonderful. Lot of new characters, which I wasn't happy about on first watch, but came to appreciate on re-viewings. They do the Scottish Play.

You'll like the stage manager's rant about actors.
I don't know if Nicole realizes that she was in the drag king epicenter of San Francisco. She was very aggrieved to hear somebody exclaim as he walked by her, "Oh that is so precious! She is so cute."
Aww! When she's 18 she should come visit me, and then I can take her to our one club. I would totally be the person going "awww! so cute!"
I have been to the gay cowboy bar two nights in a row. That's just wrong. (Though tonight, I only went to the upstairs karaoke part, which is not particularily cowboyesque).
I also found out a friend of mine has slept with more than 50 people--he doesn't remember how many. I'm both impressed and taken aback. I feel sorta sad, like surely you should remember all the people you sleep with. OTOH, I'm sure some people feel that about the people you make out with, and god knows I couldn't begin to count them...
Hi all! I'm sitting out on the neighbors' patio after having toodled around in their pool with bestest friend A in the moonlight. Now bestest friend, her DH, and one of our cool neighbors are talking about money and conscience and spirituality while jamming on two guitars. It is a very good night.
I'm sitting on the plaza outside a Cathedral on a metal folding chair. Not nearly as fun methinks.

ok, not really. actually sorta scary.
Deb's DH and my Dh were working on a project today so I went to the coffe house - which now does vietnamese nibbles thursday- sunday night for dinner. I went with my book and read 3 or 4 pages - because there were people to talk to. I finally went home about 930. there was still sawing going on in the dark. crazy. I made them think about time...
I'm hiding from my DH, who is going through all the filing we haven't done in over a year. This never makes him happy.
ND, Kristin, congrats on getting the place! You will be living near my favorite professor, author of American Bungalow Style [link] And I really should hook you guys up with another friend of mine - he's a teacher (at Polytechnic, I think), computer guy, gamer, and vehement Democrat, and I think you all would hit it off.
Wow...you know, my life is really compartmentalized. That friend and a few others are in one compartment, Buffistas are in another, my job in a third, my family in a fourth, DH's job in a fifth, and then general meatspace friends in a 6th. Not a lot of crossover between any of those compartments.
