All these gorgeous people, what a lovely way to start the day. Well, OK, middle the day. Whatever.
In sadder though extrememly shallow news, my technology seems to hate me. Now not only am I waiting for my computer to be fixed, but last night my DVD player decided the disc tray wanted to stop opening. With a DVD in it. From the library. Grrrr.
In actual news, I also just found out via e-mail from a friend that another friend's husband is in the hospital with viral menengitis. I've no other details besides that, including how long he's been sick, and I'll be calling when I get home, but, Jesus.

I saw something about something, but I couldn't tell what it was. It didn't seem like a concert, and I didn't know about the free show at the Amoeba! I need deets.

Finally dragged my ass into work. Minimal progress, though they finally have a diagnosis.
The programmers changed the way some of the data is pulled and did not build in any review processes to make sure that the expanded data was valid. And then didn't consider that the error had anything to do with the change in the process (which I knew nothing about, so couldn't even suggest it as a possible cause). Feh and blarg.
Sadly I'm warming up to the idea of staying home over the weekend. My mom is taking off to visit some cousins, DH, CJ and K-Bug will be gone - I have no one to answer to. I can work and play at will.
