Yesterday, my life's like, 'Uh-oh, pop quiz!' Today it's like, 'rain of toads.'

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I've gotten into this terrible routine where I wake up at seven, think it's too early to be up so I stay in bed, but can't get back asleep, doze off around eight, then sleep until ten. I think I just need to strap my alarm clock to the side of my head.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yet another bizarro sleep pattern day. Sleep yesterday 930am to 230; went to bed at about 1030 pm 20 mgs Ambien. WOke up 2:45 am. Awake since then.

I took an hour walk up tp Loose Park, looked at the pretty roses and suspicious ducks.

Home, shower, cold water. I think I will try to take a little nap this morning, I think I will get up at noon, get some things done today, and try to wake up at about 10 tomorrow.

Hey. New board.

The haircut is purty, GC. My sister liked it too.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm watching last night's So You Think You Can Dance

I haven't seen it, but the title of that show always reminds me of this quote:

"Can't act. Can't sing. Balding. Can dance a little."

Art Crawl!!!

I'm bracing for a very hot weekend.

Man, it's incredibly gray and humid this morning, but I'm hanging out watching the Firefly marathon. (They're playing "Our Mrs. Reynolds right now!)

Mostly lurking...

So, I had a doctor's appointment at 8am. I wore my pretty new sandals that I'm trying to break in before going to New Hampshire in two weeks. I wore them for *quite* a while yesterday and didn't think I'd make it as long today, so I brought some flip flops with to change into if necessary.

Well, it was necessary. Got on the elevator after my appointment and knew I just wasn't going to make it on the walk to the T station. So, I got my flip flops out of my bag, dropped them on the floor, and changed...there on the elevator, which was filled with men trying to figure out what the hell I was doing changing my shoes on the elevator.

We got to my floor to get off, and some of them were still staring, looking perplexed. So, as I got off I said, "Breaking in new shoes. You know how that is...", which only made them look more perplexed.

Sometimes I just love being a girl and confusing the boys :).

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Jesus H. Christ. It's only 10 a.m., and I'm already ready to punch incompetent!boss in the head.

Can I go home? I'm tired and headachey and hot and now I'm filling with pure unfiltered rage.

Grumble.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

vw - confusing boys is fun.

Well, I'm posting from home. In my pj's. I slept in until 6:30 (normally up at 5am). Work is still frelled and it appears that my data won't be available until tomorrow at the earliest. I'm gonna shower and head into the office eventually - just can't be arsed to move quickly right now.

So - I may end up missing this next tournament, sending K-Bug with DH and hoping for the best. BLARG!
