Damn you, Bridget! Damn you to Hades! You broke my heart in a million pieces! You made me love you, and then you-- I SHAVED MY BEARD FOR YOU, DEVIL WOMAN!

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Everyone should heart Numb3rs. It is a really good show. Teacup Guy doesn't watch much TV, but I can get him to watch Numb3rs with me every week.

Mostly lurking...

So, I've been surfing the net tonight, doing research on my new community. I just absolutely cannot wait to move there and get involved in stuff. It really is a community. AND, as part of the Boston Main Streets Initiative, the downtown area has FREE WiFi! How fun is that?! And, they have a yearly Trick or Treat Trot (5K in Halloween costumes!)! And, there's a church that I'm just dying to check out...seems really neat, and believes in so many of the same things that I do. I hope it'll end up being a good fit.

In conclusion, Roslindale likes carrots.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yay! Good choice!

(And it has a very pretty girl mathematician in it, for you to wibble over! Since you probably won't be wibbling over the cute boys.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've watched a few episodes of Numb3rs, but haven't really gotten into it. I've been told that I stopped watching about two episodes too soon, though, so I might give it another try. (Also, there were a few points when I had to suspend my disbelief just a tiny bit too much.)

I'm sort of starting to get used to the early mornings on this teaching job, but it helps that the program provides housing and everyone else in my townhouse is on the same schedule as I am. (Also, breakfast starts at 7:30. The kids start getting there en masse around 8. Class starts at 9. After a few days of trying to get breakfast early and trying to get it later, I discovered that I'm much better off if I wake up early and eat breakfast before the kids get there than I would be if I slept later, but ate in the cafeteria with all the kids there. Kids in the morning are LOUD.)

We're getting yet another storm here. Freaky lightning.

Cute boys are nice to look at, but I do tend to wibble more over girls. Except when I have a girlfriend. Then I actually probably wibble more over the boys.

It's a grass-is-greener thing.

brillig

The universe heard me celebrating. The job is still good, but the raise is only about 70 cents, not $2. HR person who made the official offer: "I don't know who told you folks about the wages on this. I've heard people talking about a starting wage of $18." That I don't believe, but I saw the number in print somewhere except I can't find the paper.

Ah, well, it's still better to be tech support actually employed by the company you're supporting. Plus I'm an overtime fool.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm sorry it didn't work out as well as hoped, connie, but yeah anyway.

I've watched a few eps of Numb3rs. I like the actors but was fairly underwhelmed by the eps I saw. I may have to try watching in order, as that certainly made a huge difference with Firefly. Ahem.

Always Anti-fascist!

I've loved Rob Morrow since I was 17.Which was not lucky for me as for Nilly exactly, but at least Northern Exposure was on. But I haven't seen that show yet. I don't need another show.
