One of the local columnists reported seeing a young man on the Metro, moving his hands around over some white yarn and thought it interesting that now knitting is for everyone.
Then he realized the man was untangling his iPod cord.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, Toddson, that's hysterical!
This picture is simultaneously ded-of-teh-cute and frickin' hilarious
baby pic spam:
Jack is a man baby of many funny expressions [link]
Which is funnier in contrast to his twin who is generally serene & angelic (well, except during the normal baby upset moments)
Also, gratuitous beach shot
"HR has reached closure."
GAH! That's supposed to pacify you?? Maddening.
vw, I hope the final turns out better than you're expecting. Also, go you with the landlord wrangling.
Glad things are looking up, connie.
Over all my life is looking up.
Beautiful. And hugs (which I originally typed as "jugs")
ETA: My main reason for posting, I forgot...
Congratulations to the fleas!!
OMG. Jack & Zoe are unbelievably cute.
...do they have little baby friends called Duncan and Jane yet?
t /Michael Rosenbaum groupie
Also, meant to say that I hope your mom is doing OK, Hill.

Hah! I just barely get that reference and I'm sure their mom wouldn't at all.
They are insanely cute! I was over there this morning after running with their mom and they were just waking up and were both all smiles. My day she is made! (if only it had made me more productive workwise)
Wasn't somebody here in Paris this year and saw something featuring a character called Zoe the Pirate? Does that ring any bells?
::hands amych a tissue to staunch the blood::
Congratulations! When's moving-in day?
Thanks, love! That was getting messy, and the keyboard belongs to work...
The big move is this weekend, but we'll have the old place until the end of the month if we still need to shift things around in dribs and drabs and carloads. Assuming the old place hasn't fallen apart completely by then.
Hooray for the definitive signed-in-blood house-having, amych!
Tep, I honestly did not know that about diabetics. The only ones I've known are some Buffistas and a few of my relatives, who are all smart and conscientious and proactive about it and just attend to it because, well, it's just sensible and reasonable. The "sensible and reasonable" part of it should have tipped me off to their probably not being very representative of the general population.
ION, who is the Queen of the Doing of Stuff? ME. Accomplished this morning before going to work: All dishes done, kitchen counters wiped down, recycling taken out, small bedroom bookshelf completely cleared, wiped down, transferred to the living room, and rebooked, both old and new resting places for the bookshelf vacuumed and swept and cleared of all dustbunnies and miscellaneous detritus, and two more books set aside for the trip to Half Price Books. All that, and only 10 minutes late for work.
On the other hand, I would now like to take a 3-hour nap, which is a bit of a problem what with the being at work and all. Still, Queen of the Doing of Stuff.
