[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Damn, vw, nothing like getting a good rant on and having it cut short.

I feel for the sleepless peeps. I stayed up too late and now I'm paying for it in lack of focus. Ugh. Plus, I got into it with one of my workers (who is also a personal friend) and now I'm trying to figure out how to smooth things out and get everything back in balance. It was one of those cases where she was correct according to our old supervisor, but I'm the supervisor now, so I made the opposite decision and she just can't grok that. She feels it's a matter of company policy, but it's not written down anywhere. Also, she's just a tad officious and it's not her position to tell the other employees what they can or cannot do. It's leaving a nasty taste in my mouth.

Well, it's given me time to research the tenant's rights again. With the log of their behavior over the last month, I should have absolutely NO problem getting a restraining order against them.

Now, I don't want to do that. I don't even want to threaten it. But, if she doesn't make some changes, I sure as hell will.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Timelies!

I had an excellent afk-ish weekend, and have just caught up. Glitter, ~ma and brackets for them that need it.

I don't feel like I have a hometown. I spent 4th grade through highschool in a small Ohio town that I disliked. I bailed right away for college, and that's more where I came into myself. So I think that's the place that feels the most familiar to me. I'm only just starting to get into what I think is the "adult" phase of my life, and I haven't lived anywhere but Ohio, so I don't have much to reckon against. I think I'm more of a "home" person than a "hometown" person. I've got my home, and I can put that anywhere and feel comfortable.

I had concert tickets on Friday, and it was excellent. The lead singer of Hoobastank's well-chiseled abs were distinguishable from the other side of the arena. Nickelback is much better in concert than one might expect. And they like to set things on fire or blow them up, which always goes over well with me.

I have also seen the Big Gay Pirate Movie. And then I went to see it again the next day. It's when I started taking notes during the second showing that I realized that Fandom and I are getting Serious about each other. I mean, we've had a casual relationship up to this point, but I felt awkward introducing it to my friends. But I now have to admit to myself that I am a true fangirl, and I am not ashamed. Fandom and I are dooooooomed.

(And, in related news, how's the doooooomed going vw?)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have no time for fandom. I feel like a bad girlfiend.

I SO did not want to get out of bed this morning. I need to take a day to myself.

I used to consider myself a social person, but I have had no downtime and I just want to hide under a rock. Staying home for a day does not help - mom, CJ and K-Bug are at home. Work = people.

VW, Emily, don't take this the wrong way, but...why do you let them in?

They usually just walk right in. No more, though. NO MORE. She's gonna know that before I hang up. I'm gonna tell her I've been keeping a log of her and the agent's behavior over the last month and that I have no problem going to file a complaint with the city if I have to add even one thing more to that log.

She thinks we're not cooperative? She's gonna SEE not cooperative. And then I'm gonna throw out a proposal. So, we'll see how it goes.

What is even happening?

Emily and vw, I'm sorry your landlords are being so inconsiderate of your privacy. I bet you won't miss that when you move.

When are your last days in your apartment?

They usually just walk right in.

It also helps that, while she's an inconsiderate bitca, he's an incredibly sweet man, and he's the one who comes to the door.
