[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now you tell me. Not driving across the bay area in my jammies.

Wanna come out to K-Bug's game tomorrow?

These are our last local games this summer.

ION - I just checked our answering machine and there are two messages for CJ. One from a girl (not the one - J - who called earlier today) calling him out for being rude to J. Then there was a VERY nice message from J asking CJ to call and she left her number twice.

Now, CJ is gone for the weekend. Do I ignore the messages until Monday? Do I call CJ and have him return J's call? Do I call J and tell her he is gone until Monday?

Oy, I'm not ready for him to have a social life.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's way wicked short,

::pumps fist::

The A's won their 8th in a row.

Yep, we were there. Barry was dealing. Getting ahead of hitters and just burying them with the yakker. Those NL guys had never seen a curveball like his. (Except Nomar, and Kent, who played against the A's all the time with the Giants.)

Also? I called Chavez's homerun. Not before he came to the plate. Right before the pitch. Not only that, it wasn't a guess - it was one of those things where your brain sorts through all the information really quickly and you see how it's going to play out. I even pointed where he'd hit it, though I did not indicate hitting the foul poul.

So on his 12th try, Emmett finally saw an A's game at the Coliseum where the A's won. We figured it was two things. He had his Triple A Championship mojo working for him, and the minute he picked up an A's rally monkey in the gift shop, Jay Payton hit the double that tied up the game. Rally monkey is sleeping with him tonight.
