Sorry Tep - they are right. Which is why I don't smoulder often. not real good at the Bitch face
Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm not sure anyone but Aaron Spelling could contractually obligate someone to be cute, and he won't be doing that so much, anymore.
Well, okay, it's America - you can sue people for breathing.
Damn right, if you're breathing downwind of my property you're stealing my oxygen.
Maybe spelling smote the Phoenix cause I mocked him for pining for the fjords. Netflix is sending disc one of Sports Night today which makes me think of the Hospitality Suite and stuff. Also, Trudy, I had my annual "Hargitay got nominated...all the real actresses must have plague," moment. My pick for best actress in a drama is probably Deadwood's Molly Parker.
In good news, the evil CEO of DH's co was sent packing yesterday. I say evil because he is known for running companies into the ground. No one knows what this means for the future, but it gave a major morale boost. The only sad thing was that DH was at the dentist at the time of the announcement.
beth, a little joy to balance any pain?
Trudy, I had my annual "Hargitay got nominated...all the real actresses must have plague," moment.
As I snarled at the television there was some comfort that you were out there doing the same.
They didn't bother with photographs or any attempt at speaking with the girl over the 'phone at all before flying over to get hitched? Well, dude, too bad. Really. You can't sue the poor cow for being ugly!
Well, okay, it's America - you can sue people for breathing. But you shouldn't sue the poor cow for being ugly. I bet the groom's no oil painting.
The suit was filed in Massachusetts. Reading over the documents, I'm guessing the plaintiff (who is father of the erstwhile groom, not the 37 year old groom, himself) has no lawyer. I think I'm going to sue them all for using my public resources and state's judicial system for perpetrating this fraudulous suit which, at its heart, seems to focus on what can only be considered the equivalent of selling/buying human beings, which has long been illegal in this state.
erika, I was watching PBS's marathon showing of the Broadway musicals thing and they had a clip of Jerry Orbach as Billy Flynn in Chicago, followed by one from an interview he did (at that time) about it. And I thought of you ....
