Whoo, the roller coaster of awesome is a scary one.
YAY JEN! I vote multi-super powers, one for each radiation series. Invulnerability, healing, flying and transporting. Also invisibility.
Happy Birthday Askye, it sounds like you're having a lovely day.
I hope you've recovered from the fall, sj. I love the looks of the vw apartment, and yay for found money that covers us when we need it.
I have bronchitis. I had two steroid breathing treatments in the doctors office (he was not pleased with my breathing after the first one), was sent home with one tube of asmanex (1xday, 14days), and have been given a prescription for narcotic cough syrup. Yay me.
Now I'm going to go nap for 45 minutes and then I have to go call someone and interview them to get quotes supporting something they don't yet do. Yes. My life is glamorous.
Hey, Hive Mind!
Any thoughts on where I might buy recipe cards?

Dollar Stores, bookstores (sometimes), and stationary stores.
This [PDF] file from Martha has some recipie card templates towards the back. Buy some card stock from Staples and print them out.
Oh, and the little box too. Not just the cards. Oh no, that wouldn't do! When you invite sixty people to a shower it has to be real cards in a real box even if the shower is bumped up by two weeks and suddenly the invitations need to go out Monday...

OHMIGAWD!
I'm giving notice!
HOLY CRAP.
Oh, Deena, bronchitis, ick. I'm glad to hear you have what sounds like a broad spectrum of treatment.
I'm gonna have a phone interview next weekend for this Underwriter Trainee gig. I wish I was more excited about it. I'm with Katerina, though, I would much rather have the free time except for that pesky paycheck thing. Having money is really much nicer than not having money.
Martha suggests tying the cards up with a ribbon.
Yay, Aimee!
Sorry about the bronchitis, Deena. I hope the meds kick it to the curb and fast.
