I'm off to a doctor's appointment, where we are going to talk about my complete lack of energy and the constant pain in my right leg. I hope I get some good answers. Then small dinner party tonight with friends. I have the berries cut up in the fridge already to go over the angel food cake (bought not made). So, when I get home I have to roast the veggies, make the spinach-herb pesto, and boil the pasta. Oh, and clean my entire apartment. I hope my appointment doesn't last too long.

Er, though it's not quite dead, per se. The battery holds no juice, but it still turns on and everything.
My battery is down to 45 minutes of life on a full charge on the old laptop. (Not the Mac, the other one.)
Sadly, replacing the battery can be done for under $100, so there's no way I can justify just replacing the beast.
You know you've been hiding out in fandom too much when you read "House condemns media..." and picture a doc with a cane threatening to put a tv camera somewhere painful. But at least that House knows he's a. a little crazy. b. a dick that tries not to care about people(but does anyway) The House of Reps? Maybe vasculitis.

At home with a sick toddler. Her left nostril was COMPLETELY blocked when I went to get her out of her crib this morning. Sent home from daycare. Gah.
OTOH, I might not have known that she can say, with amazing clarity, "MONKEY!"
