Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

after I tell them I'm not interested they've started asking if I know anyone who would like to have them come talk to them. WTF?

My mom would probably have them come talk to me. She sicced some Jehovah's Witnesses on me when I was in college. I felt kind of bad for them, because they were under the impression that I would be receptive.

You can't argue with math.

I'm not arguing, just patiently waiting for the DVDs to come out so I can add them to my humungously long queue. Why do I only get the 2 at a time subscription? Oh, yeah. Because I'm cheap.

move out and draw fire

I may explode from all that goodness.

I didn't think it was possible for me to ever love a TV show again.

ETA: lib, they're out! I got mine from Amazon today.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love the sixth episode so very much, just for the soliloquy goodness. It's hard not to quote it during R&G rehearsals.

Yeah. But I did feel like the very end petered out a bit too much.

In S2, I thought the sixth/last episode was the best.

Oh wait - have you still not seen S2 yet? This must be remedied!

Thanks, Raq! They have been added to the queue and even moved almost to the top (I've got to finish s1 of Profit first).

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Working from home rules. I'm still in my jammies, drinking coffee from my Tigger mug. Also? Solving work crises from home is so much less stressful.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Paul Gross fans do realize that you can get Naked Paul Gross in the fabulous Men With Brooms, right? Also, there is Molly Parker.

I just got this for my very own! It's possible that I licked it.

Sidebar: what does OMGWTFBBQ! mean? That's not one of ours, is it?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oh My Gawd What The Fuck Bar-B-Que.

Not sure where it came from, but I first saw it on LJ and love it.

Always Anti-fascist!

Definitely understanding Plei's Molly Parker love. Alma Garrett could be a relatively thankless part. I mean, she's polite almost to pathology a good deal of the time(the one longtime Deadwooder who never even gives a good cussing-out,) but MP can make "Mr Bullock..." say everything she wants to say. And she has great skin. I wonder if Seth Bullock ever asked her to whisper "cocksucker" in bed. Because there are times when she looks pissed enough that I just want to say "Go on! You know you want to!"

What is even happening?

Am I alone in my anti-massage-ness? I don't want any stranger touching my bod. It would make me uncomfortable and tense, which is so not the point.
Definitely not alone. You might enjoy this old piece from Popgurls, if you haven't read it, already: [link]
