I had a rather unsettling dream in which my ex and his parents just showed up at my house and would not leave, even though I was reduced to screaming and sobbing at them to leave so I could get my work done. This is improbable at many levels, one of them being that one those people has been dead for years.
I am suffering from post-deadline sloth, which I must shake off or meeting the next deadline will be just as ugly.

We're not close now, especially because her dad tried to pick up my mom. Long story, but it felt like...incest.
What's wrong with my computer that it's really hard to restart when it's been off? I usually have to turn it off another time to get my desktop back.

Poor K-Bug. It sounds like such a very hard, confidence-shaking time. She's incredibly brave, though -- screw that whole totally-fearless thing; real courage is being all gnawed up with doubt and gritting through it anyway.

it's more true that my body and lifestyle don't match who I am, so I fit the clothes to the body shape and demands of the life.
This is how I feel a lot of the time, but I have this body shappr and this lifestyle because I chose them, more or less, so they must suit me in some way.
I'm glad the on-line nature of school is giving you benefits, sj, but cramps on the first day is still kind of a drag.
