I'm trying to think of a good reason why I shouldn't do the same.None, none at all. Nap.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cool, I didn't know there was a feed either. Am now signed up. And Jilli, I *adore* your answer to the last question.
Far be it from me to disobey Cass. I am napward bound.
Far be it from me to disobey Cass. For, lo, I am wise in the way of naps.
In fact, I took one from 8:00 to 9:30 tonight which *sounds* like a really bad idea but with this heat, I won't sleep through the night no matter.
And I woke up right when the temperatures got back down to the 85-88 (and, in theory, falling) that it was indoors, so I opened the sliding doors and the two windows. Still sweltering but with the potential of cooling as time goes on.
Going to take a very cool shower now, plink for another hour or two and then go back to bed. Moving the good, really excellent, fan from room to room with me as I go.
BLESS the kitties!
Fact: the hot is of the suck.
While it takes a while to heat this place up when it is warm outside, this also means that it isn't the quickest to cool off either. Especially when the air outside isn't moving a molecule. Blergh.
It's basically 3 a.m. and finally cool outside but not so much inside just yet. The fan helps hugely though. I think I am going to take it into the bedroom and read for a bit until I can drop off to sleep.
For the record? It's just hot, I am not being a freaky insomniac. This time.
Good nap. Then went to the market, and that was good too, but hot.
One of those fans that you put in the window might be just the thing for your bedroom, Cass. I like to combine a fan with either a spritzer bottle of water or a wet washcloth for the whole evaporative cooling effect.
Poor Cass! Hope you're sleeping now...
Raq, hope you had a good nap.
Timelies, all!
Off to e-mail my webmistress!
I don't think it's you -- the same thing has happened with a number of my other feeds over the last few days.
Found our apartment listed on Craigslist. Let the fun begin!
I suspect that when a site that's on the rss feed updates in some way, it makes the feed think everything is new. I've been getting a lot of flist spam from my feeds lately, too.
I'd like it if LJ put the feeds to which we subscribe somewhere other than our friends page--like if there was a feed page as well, or something. I don't mind the feed clutter when I'm looking for feeds, but if I get 10 classic Dave Barry columns from the mid-90s, when I'm really looking to see what Cashmere is up to, it's not so good.
