Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's your home and not hers and Not!Emily never asked if she could come over while he's out of the country.

He did, actually. Just not if she could stay for several days.

Mostly lurking...

I really don't think he intended her to do this. Actually, I wouldn't even mind so much if she would ask. But, this just being here is driving me a little nuts.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's pretty ballsy of her, but it puts you in an awkward position if you don't want to be seen as bitchy.

Thinking "Go the Fuck Home" thoughts towards her on your behalf.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

She did this not because she could not afford to retire, but because she was strong, healthy and liked to keep moving.

I love the idea of working because I want to when I'm 80, but the idea of having to, not so much. That said, I'm very happy with my print.

I think I'ma go on an all-strawberry shortcake diet for the foreseeable future.

Last summer, I visited Oregon during strawberry season. I had strawberry waffles for breakfast and the most incredible strawberry shortcake for dinner. OMG, I would so go on an all-strawberry shortcake diet if I lived in strawberry country!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Fill in your own joke here.
I just moved. I fear fire and damnation should I snark on others...

but I'll feel it inside.
You should say it out loud as well. Nicely, but it's not her place...

::points up:: See? Even you realize this.

They are a total revelation here... I used to think they were fine as fruits go but I never was a huge fan. Turns out? I'd never really tasted nummy strawberries before. Mmmmmmm...

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmm strawberries. I love Florida strawberry season. (Dec-Mar or so) We eat box after box of them. Yummy.

I'm all settled in the hotel. Went to visit the place I'll be working this week. The office manager had both of her parents there doing prep work for my arrival. Too cute.

Now I'm going to the restaurant downstairs in search of food. Then all alone with a book. This is like a mini vacation.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Now I really, really want strawberry shortcake for dinner. I mean, dinner plans are grilled steak and veggies, which will be yummy, but that means I have to go outside and use the grill, which means being out in the sun and being too warm.

I wonder if I could convince Pete to go to Whole Foods and pick up scones. Probably not. Especially since right now, he's playing Halo2 against Drew and MM via XBox Live.

Your kitties look like mine!

Er, not that that's all that shocking. Not sure how many different kinds of black cat there are out there. Still and all, yay!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So, I take it these are the kitties who threaten to disturb my slumber?

...Acceptable.
