Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

Leperkins

Sort of sounds like a new troll doll with interesting diseases if you dip it in cold water, and get rid of them with warm!

I still had to go back and change Perkins to Lee...err other way around... before I hit post, so I'm good. Except for where I compare her to a leprous troll doll.

Timelies. I think the gronk is gonna need a pot of coffee today.

HEY

eta: Don't wanna be a troll doll. Maybe I need to change my name...

To Leperkins? I think that won't work out how you think.

Deena, you are so right about the gronk.

Despite the gronk, I think I'm going to make strawberry shortcake for breakfast.

My mom's shortcut for the shortcake, heh, was to make really simple drop-biscuits (using Jiffy baking mix or Bisquick to make it even quicker sometimes), but add about a tablespoon of sugar to the batter and sprinkling a little bit on top. So they're very lightly sweet, but fluffy and warm from the oven. They only take about six or seven minutes to bake, IIRC, and so so good.

Deena, the gronk is very strong today over here too. Teacup Guy's family decided yesterday that we are going to meet where we live rather than where they live. Which means that I get to clean our entire apartment today.

Oh. Joy. Love that family vibe.

Lee, you are not a Leperkins, you are a Lee, with a Perkins, and you're adorable. I don't think we can dip Perkins in cold water to see if he turns leprous, but I'm betting he's not a Leperkins either.

Oh, man, Brenda, way to make me want food. Evil. Evil, evil, evil.

Today is Greg's niece's birthday. I don't recall how old, but in that pony-fairytopia stage. About 7, I think. They're having her birthday at the Natural History Museum and all the punkins get to dig in the dirt and have an Archeological Expotition. Greg's taking the babykin. I am not going as I'm still coughing so hard that... well, no need to finish that. Suffice to say I shan't be seen in public today.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Trudy, that's great news about Dallas. Good to hear she's ok.

It wouldn't be a big deal, except Dave works all weekend and we were out late last night with Victor, Kristin, and Theodosia, so there isn't any time for Dave to really help. He has promised to get home as quickly as possible, to help with any last minute straightening. The part that really annoys me is that if I hadn't called yesterday, they were going to call me with the change of plans this afternoon! I would have had no time to even straighten things out a little.
