This here's a recipe for unpleasantness.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Birthday Epic!

Congrats Daniel and Andi!

I have internet back at home, so it's possible I will maintain some modicum of sanity. The DH has been a little afraid that he'd come home to find me jacked in, Bejewled cascading down the monitor Matrix-like, and the baby wearing the cat as a diaper and living off of whatever he can reach on the lowest shelf of the fridge. Which I think is feta cheese and cherry juice.

Happy Solstice!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have managed to drag all the laundry into Mom's house but not yet downstairs where the washer and dryer actually are. This is so much easier when she is not down at her beach house for the summer.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I cut through the green market on the way to the post office and my throat decided it could handle a knish, some apple cake, and some fresh strawberries. That's like lunch, right?

The vet called. Dallas is awake. The surgery went well. It came in on the high-end of the estimate. Anybody want to buy a prospective first-born?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I think June is DA BOMB. I must be bogarting all the June goodness. Sorry.

Just had lunch with my dad -- and mom (!) -- for my birthday (which is in 2 days, if I haven't mentioned it lately). Cheesecake factory. Yum yum yummy. And then I came back to work to a surprise Amazon.com delivery -- my bro sent me S5 of Angel (which was on my wish list b/c I am a lazy git and hadn't bought it yet). Woot! I am SO watching "Origin" as soon as I get home. Best hour of TV *evah.*

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for good outcomes, Trudy.

I'm glad the surgery went well, Trudy.
