Kristin, I love that comic! And thanks for the heads-up about the software, too -- I could see possibly buying that for a program at my library, since I have a lot of kids who are really into comics.

Our wings are not tired.

I need to get that software for my boys. Fun stuff. The sample was verra cute too.

Kate! I saw your doppleganger yesterday at the grocery store. First I thought she looked like you, then she turned and smiled at her friend and she totally had your glorious smile too! I would have talked to her and told her that she looked like my beautiful friend, but she probably would have thought I was flirting in my gushiness and then I would be embarrassed. But it was nice to almost see you, unless you were shopping at Publix in Delray Beach yesterday in which case I am mighty upset I didn't say hi!

Thanks, guys! I was beginning to think maybe I was delusional in thinking it was kind of clever and fun. It's a great program, and I had a lot of fun with it. Tons of different treatments (watercolor, pencil, oil [that's the one I used], negative, etc.) and styles.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I hope not, because we have a couple hundred licenses for it floating around the looniversity... (Sadly, all the Comic Life projects I've worked with have been Japanese classes, which means I can't read the comics they produce.)

Heh. I meant my own sorry attempt at a comic, not the software. Vague pronouns are no one's friend!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I liked the comic but I wanted it to be bigger. Am I missing a way to make it bigger?

Nah, your pronouns were fine -- I just had your message and Laura's above it on my screen (about getting a copy of the program), and I didn't scroll back further for context that would actually make sense. D'oh!

But yes, Comic Life is terrific fun and cheap and ridiculously easy.

It's set to be full(ish) screen in slideshow mode and shows that way on my computer. Is it not on yours?

Not javachik

That is so cool, Kristen!

So what should the next thread's name be?

Something with "snog" in it?

or warp core breach?

or...

I'm not sure. It was about 1/3 of the screen wide in slide-show mode.
