Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

shrift, you said:

It's looking like I'll be in Mountain View, CA flying in the evening of August 24th. I'll probably be free Monday-Wednesday for dinner and drinks, but Thursday evening I probably will be zooming down to Atlanta for Dragon*Con.

I work the next town over from Mountain view, so I would happily meet you for dinner/drinks any of those days.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I never got to meet shrift when we lived in the same state, so I'm in too!

I will have to coordinate dinners, because apparently I know a lot of people in the area and I don't want to miss anyone!

You could have a night of rolling dinners, where you have an appetizer at one place, an entree at another, and dessert at the last.

Let me know if I can help with planning and/or transportation.

Shrift, you totally need to come up to SF and get taken out to dinner some evening.

Perkins, maybe you could get her & yourself into SF?

I'm thinking maybe the Thirsty Bear, which has great beer & good food and isn't insanely expensive... (2nd x Howard, one block south of Mission).

Our wings are not tired.

Heh. The one time I made it to Thirsty Bear, it was belly dancing night!

I can get us to Millbrae, at the very least.

Our wings are not tired.

Depending on which night, I can play a part in transpo. I commute from Foster City to San Bruno, so picking people up on Peninsula and taking into SOMA is easy peasy.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Thirsty Bear is awesome, and shouldn't be too loud on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
