billytea! We saw lots of itty bitty animal skulls and thought of you.
Well, naturally.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
billytea! We saw lots of itty bitty animal skulls and thought of you.
Well, naturally.
I just got home.
I, also, am so fucking tired.
I am home, and very tired as well, which is why I am home, and not eating dinner with other people.
Also, when will my ears get unplugged?
When I tilt my head forward, the sound quality of everything gets distorted. It'd disconcerting.
Lest I further give the impression that I'm just a whiner, the flight was very smooth most all the time - as goog as a 3 1/2 hour flight in a 737 with every single seat filled (all of them coach) can be....
This has been my personal favorite f2f. My only regret was that there were a few people who I didn't attach a Buffista name to....
I didn't get to say goodbye to you either, Tommyrot.
BYE!
I hope your ears clear out soon.
Bye Perkins!
Bye everyone else!
(am now earwormed with "So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehn, good night.")
I also am wired as hell - I can never sleep immediatly after a day of travel. (In college, I once drove 20 hours straight (by myself) and then was so wired I joined friends at a bar. I drank a pitcher of beer myself, and I didn't notice any effect.)
Will pizza help me sleep? Nah - I'd have to stay up for a bit after eating the pizza.
We're 185 miles from LA. I have graded nine senior final exams and five literary analysis essays on the way. Fear me!
Aimee and Em are sound asleep. Joe and Drew are chatting. Poor Drew has come down with a nasty cold (I'm looking at you, tommyrot!), so he will be especially glad when we get home. We're also traveling with the storm, it seems, so it's been a very wet drive.
I'm very sorry--I don't think I ever got a chance to chat with you, Tommyrot. My apologies. I was not as social as I would have liked to be, this weekend.
But it's a good thing I stayed away from the BBQ; between the cats and this cold, I would have asphyxiated shortly, I suspect. (No disrespect implied to Deb's housekeeping--even the cleanest house possessed of multiple cats sets me off.)
On edit -- and I can't even blame Tommyrot for the cold, since I never even spoke to him! Damnit! Who to blame, who to blame...
Blame Canada!
Poor Drew has come down with a nasty cold (I'm looking at you, tommyrot!),
Poor Drew. I hope I'm not the cause of it. After all, I never kissed Drew....
How long does it take to see cold symptoms once you're exposed to a cold virus?

Yeah, that was too bad. My cold kept me less active and more subdued than I would have liked. Also, it made me drink less, and avoid cigarettes completely.
