Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Oh, noes!
Oh, dear! Quick! Send in the iPhones!
Y'all were too much for it, weren't you?
We're back up!
Also, I second Tom's WAFFLES! Though a couple of old ladies had to help me figure out how to do it. But they only laughed at me a little bit, so it was okay.
Gronk. We have had about ten minutes of sleep combined and don't have a direct flight...and then we have to battle our way through the flood plains to Madison. I have a feeling that the first thing we're going to do when we finally get to the hotel is nap.
I-94 to Madison is back up and running and you shouldn't have any problems. We breezed through yesterday, helped I think by the fact that the word hadn't gotten out that it was open again. But still, it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm packed, my apartment's clean (mostly), and I'm just waiting for ChiKat to magically appear! All I have left to do is feed and water the cat for the weekend.
I was going to do laundry last night, but then I put together the clothes I needed for the weekend and realized that laundry was only necessary if I was going to overpack. Oh, and I tried on the dress I wore for my sister's wedding last year, and even though I'm more lumpy than I was then, I can still fit into it (thank God for jersey knit and other stretchy material!!). I'll just get it dry-cleaned at the hotel by tomorrow night.
I did remember to pack my feather boa from the Evanston F2F for appropriate flouncing and posing.
And for any female 'istas who wear size 10 shoes, I've got some silver flip-flops that my sister gave me to pass on to someone who'd fit into them. I'll bring them to the hospitality suite.

Pfft! She's a teacher--she can do anything!!
And we've got dark skies and thunder in the distance in Northern Illinois.
Just what we need: more rain.
