Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

isn't A Woman's Touch in Madison?

Yes. I've never been there and the website looks like it's all sextoy kind of stuff, but it could be more. If folks want to check it out, I say go for it.

My impression (I know a kinkster in Madison) is that they're like Good Vibes; they sell Fun Stuff and also offer classes and such. Don't know about corsets, but IIRC, shopping for sex toys has been a Group Activity in previous F2Fs anyway.

Not that I'm saying what anyone should do, since I won't be there, grumble grumble.

A blog I stumbled across (that specialized in recommending good lingerie shops) said they specialize in transvestite, cross-dressing and other assorted non-vanilla type clothing and products. I think empirical evidence is required.

IOroadN, they're building an emergency cross-over between the westbound and eastbound lanes of I-94, so there will be one lane of each available. It could be done as soon as Thursday. brenda, let me know if you want directions for an alternate route, just in case. I took one home last night that was only 3 miles longer than my normal commute. It added about a half hour on, but that's better than an extra two.

Clearly.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's entirely possible that I will be dressed far too casually for prom.

Do what I'm doing, javachik--bring a boa! It'll dress up the most drab of khakis, the blahest of shirts, and provides great flouncing and posing opportunities, as well.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

random note - did you know that there is at least one custom boa maker in New York (well, where else?). A local theater is doing a production that they wanted something with feathers ... and ended up going to an expert.

Bad Wolf

I wanted to wear one of my suits...I'm not sure it fits anymore (gained 30 pounds since I last wore it).

Nice pants and a button down are about normal for guy wear at prom. There could be suits, but don't feel pressured to present something you're not comfortable with. This group is diverse, so our dress is, too. I still haven't decided what to wear this year. And by decided, I mean I haven't gone shopping for a new dress, yet. :)
