I think so!
And I just took a look at the map, and my friend's show in Cambridge is only a couple miles from my hotel. A straight shot, practically. I could even take the subway, I think, for kicks, if I felt bad about taking a cab. Oh, company dime.
All righty, Tuesday night, let's meet at Summer Shack at like 6pm? Who's in?
ETA the date: June 24.

Don't. The route you'd have to take on the subway would be to go all the way to around where we had dinner on one train, switch trains, and then basically go the distance a cab would have to go from another angle. Mass avenue to Central Square by cab is no picnic due to the lights, but I still think it would be significantly faster than the subway. I think even the Mass Ave bus (can't remember the exact number) would be faster than the subway.
I'm definitely in for dinner.

Dude! The Number 1! I'd definitely rec that over the T, if you don't want to take a cab. But a cab wouldn't be that much to Central Square.
The Number 1!
Heh. When I was living in that part of the world, I used to just walk to Central Square (and Harvard Square), so I think I took that bus twice, but forgetting #1 is pretty lame.

Ooh. Google Maps doesn't show routes. I see two stations near each other; I assume there is an easy way to get from one to the other! Apparently not. Good job, Boston.

Yeah, it doesn't look like it would be too much. And as long as I eat in Cambridge, I can claim that as my reason for transportation.
I hope Jon and FAQWife can come again. Nora, would Tom be available this time? I want him to perform live LOLTARDISes.
I just emailed Tom to tell him this was happening. Hopefully it will work out! I think he has to go to the farm but maybe it could be done during lunch instead of after work.

I guess someone should shoot off the event to the Somervillains mailing list this time.
Hoping for some irrational phone-fear type reason it's not me.
