The thought of riding a duck scares me in my engronkified state.
Also, boo-hiss at the cruel fate which is depriving us of Laura and Frankenbuddha... and every Buffista who can't be there.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Does that mean all the ducks have washed away?
No, just the houses.
You mean, like, stopping in NYC on the way to/from Otter Lake?
That could possibly happen on the way home. My SIL lives on Staten Island and we could crash with her a couple days. Of course, Tom and other NYCistas, there is always the option of jumping on the Adirondack train and heading my way. We have room, and possible otter spotting.
As much as I will miss visiting with and hugging the Buffistas I have hugged before, it is particularly tragic that I will miss meeting so many I haven't met before! It makes reading posts a new experience when I can hear the voices and see than mannerisms in my head. sniff
Atlanta is on the way. Sort of.
Hee, maybe on the way to Ohio! Straight up I-95 for me. I don't know whether Mona and I are going to drive straight through on the way up or if we will be spending the night in NC. The trip back will likely involve more stops since I will have kids.
I've set up a survey to see what kind of food folks want for Prom. Click Here to take survey I'll leave it up until noon my time on Friday, the 13th, so I can give it to the Great Dane within their 7 day notification period.
Sail, I'm a little bitter that the platter options do not include cheese curds.
Heh. Is it on their regular menu? We can request special orders. I'm going to order a bread platter as my contribution.
It's okay, just look for me on the patio at the student center, drinking a New Glarus, having a brat, and ogling all of the sporty boys running and kayking and whatnot.
Paging Frank!
You'll be happy to know the ducks are just fine. In fact, they've been using them to rescue people stranded by flooding in Baraboo. Go, ducks!
