Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, I was just thinking if I can't get in at the official location it would be second best to be in a hotel with other Buffistas. I am not coming up with any great plan at the moment. I hope to be in NY and DH will likely be in FL. We could meet there, but he also needs to get to NY. I would like him in NY for 4th of July, and again for my nephew's wedding Aug 3, and I'll need him to help me drive home mid-August. Yet it is unlikely he will want to stay there for long stretches and less likely that he will be thrilled to fly up 3 times to Syracuse and also to Madison. Guess I'll try and figure this out.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Whee! Kate, you're welcome to crash here if you need to or want to. Echo Park is right around the corner.

We won't actually be back from the F2F until the evening of the 25th, but we should be around for the rest of your trip.

Yay! Oh good, I was hoping I'd get to hang out with you! I'll talk to my brother to find out exactly where he is, and then we can coordinate.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Super 8
We're in the Super 8, I believe, and we aren't the only ones. IIRC it is the next nearest from the CI.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hey - if I were going to mail something to the hotel, what would be the best way to address it so it winds up in the hospitality suite?

Our wings are not tired.

Maybe to the account manager or to SailAweigh?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I can check with the hotel, tomorrow, Jess and let you know. I'm guessing since we're registered under the name Buffistas, if you address it that way, they'll hold it until someone (me, probably) comes to pick it up.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I had to sneak in here to post this: extreme taxidermy

Wow. Just wow. Did you look through the pictures on his Flickr page?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wasn't there a funeral director/taxidermist in American Gods?
