I know, Brenda.... I was starting to dread it, and even threatened Daniel that I would not go. Poor guy, he said he wanted to go if it meant we had to buy bed sheets and go in togas.
But... I think I have a line on something utterly beyond fabulous.... And I'm not going to say much more right now because it is not a done deal.
I haven't the slightest on what I'm wearing for prom.
MM will be in the candy posing pouch.
So, me being new to this whole thing... are we talking like high school prom attire, like full on tux, or more like costume-y. I'm assuming th former.
You know what happens when you assume...
(It's more the latter)
Victor, as I understand it, the Buffista prom is a chance to dress up - fun and fabulous and sexy, and whatever that means to you. It need not be formal. And it certainly need not be the average cocktail party attire. If you were female, I would be advising you to wear whatever makes you feel sexy and fabulous. I'm not sure if you want to feel "fabulous". Is there a more masculine equivalent?
I'm trying to think of the best way to describe prom wear. semi-formal is a place to start - but if that means jeans and a Hawaiian shirt - go for it. If yu have always want to wear something shinny, go for it. you never went to a prom, where prom clothes. Clothing changes are not mandatory, but it happens. Corsets, leather ,lace, fishnets - they are all there. show off and be comfortable. if you dance, you will dance hard. you might have strangers deciding you have to much candy. MM will wear whatever you dare him to wear - provided there is enough alcohol. I think most people have a little more fun if they can find something special
When I went to my first (and until this year, only) F2F, I wore an everyday shirt and khakis which I promified with a feather boa. I'm now searching for "the dress" on e-bay, but if I can't find it for a reasonable price, I might go with comfortable and boa again.
I've been known to wear my leather kilt.
I was thinking something wesleyish in angel after the fall one.
