Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Have we settled on the Quality Inn for sure?

So I was following some links in someone’s LJ and landed here, which got me thinking, again, about the idea of having a F2F, someday, in a place that isn’t a hotel in a big city. Noise Design has mentioned interest in that general idea as well.

Here’s where the link started – Washington State Park. [link]

There are Environmental Learning Centers: [link] Check this out – it’s on Orcas Island! !!! Dude, a temporary Buffista Island! It’s beautiful up there. It could be later in the year instead of earlier if it were there, like, before school starts, not right as school is ending. Just a thought.

Accommodations: Rustic main lodge with wood-burning stove and commercial-sized kitchen; three duplexes sleep 28 each with attached restrooms and showers; one cabin sleeps four with attached restroom and shower; two A-frames sleep eight each; four cabins sleep 10 each; restrooms and showers nearby.

Check out the rates: 2008 Overnight Rates:$9.30 per person (plus tax) Full camp Minimum 70 people, maximum 144 Main camp Oct. 1 – April 30: Minimum 40 people, maximum 88

The savings on rooms would make up for the extra cost in car rental and ferry fares.

Just a thought…

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

AFAIK, we haven't had any F2Fs that involved yurts.

There's one (I think in the link above, but I looked at so many, I'm not 100% sure) that had teepees.

I love the idea of prom in a yurt

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

If you guys are interested in the idea (isn't next year the West Coast's turn?), Fort Flagler is also cool: [link]

We had a class retreat there in college. It was awesome. You're also fairly close to Port Townsend if you need to make a supply run.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My parents went to Orcas Island last year and loved it.

I was thinking of coming to look that up! It's where An Officer and A Gentleman was filmed, correct?

Fort Flagler offers a variety of unique accoommodations for rent. The Fort Flagler Environmental Learning Center (ELC) makes a fun overnight camp get-away for large groups, and several vacation homes are available for overnight family vacationing.

Fort Flagler ELC:

The ELC, consisting of Camp Hoskins (capacity: 180), Camp Richmond (capacity 52) and Camp Wilson (capacity: 29), accommodates a total of 261 people in three dormitory camp arrangments. Guests can reserve one, two, or all three facilities. All camps include a dining hall, kitchen, plates and cooking utensils, as well as restroom/shower facilities. Prices vary depending on size of the group. For information or reservations, call the ELC office at (360) 902-8600 or toll free at (800) 360-4240.
