My two cents...

I always prefer to have the prom at the hotel--so much better for drinking/breaks for shy folks/changes, etc.

The HS is best if we can book it Friday-Sunday so long as we can do a late clean out on Sunday--if not, it would be really good to have it through Monday morning since people gather there to say goodbye, plot excursions, etc. all day Sunday. Believe me, no one wants to get up early on Sunday to deal with clean-up.

I think that Prom and Hotel need to be in the same building. Although I don't plan to change, there's a long time between now and then for me to find outfits.

As close to each other as they are, I think the on-site prom is the only amenity that makes a serious difference here to me. That does really make things nicer.

(Same/similar wireless situation at each? That's the only thing I can think of in the past that was a big deal.)

Pretty sure, brenda. High speed internet in the rooms, wireless in common areas.

The no daily linen service thing only applies within each new guest's stay, right? I don't mind at all having to make my own bed and sleeping on the same sheets for 3 days as long as they were clean when my stay started.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I bet the health department would have words with them if it was not changed between guests. I hope.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm assuming it's done between check-outs and check-ins, Matt.

I have no strong opinion, either way, hotel wise. If we decide to bring the kids down, we'd stay at the Candlewood regardless because of the suite style rooms with kitchen.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I'd definitely prefer staying at the hotel where we'll be having Prom.
