Our wings are not tired.

Kristin, I am disappointed in the program for not giving you the opportunity you deserve, but I am COMPLETELY freaking EXCITED THAT YOU WILL BE AT THE F2F.

Ahem.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Javachik said it better than I could think to say. I'm sorry you didn't get into the Chaucer program, but not at all sorry you'll be at the F2F.

Hey, are we able to make reservations at the hotel yet?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Not yet, guys. I'm leaving work early today to drop off the contract. I'd give it until tomorrow to start calling. I'm sorry my work hours are insane because of the commute, it's slowing me down considerably. I do promise to have an answer for you by tonight.

Sail, when you get the details, send them to me and I'll put stuff up on a web page again.

I went looking for flights, because AirTran is having a pretty good one-day sale today, and it turns out that round trip on AirTran/Delta to Milwaukee would be $200ish, but Midwest Airlines to Madison, with a stop in Milwaukee, would be $270ish. I'd think that would beat the price of flying into Milwaukee and getting a bus, plus Midwest is supposed to be quite nice. Now I need to decide whether I'm leaving Thursday or Friday.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Kristin I'm so sorry the Chaucer program doesn't know what's good for them but I'm glad I'll see you in Madison!

Ginger, I'll e you in a few minutes with details to put up.

I dropped off the signed contract. We should be in the system as of tonight, but you might want to wait one day before trying to make reservations to be on the safe side.

Our group name is Buffistas and our group number is 105203. I'd make sure to have both for reference when calling based on past experiences.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'm going to bring this up and then drop it like the very hot potato it is...have we ballparked costs at all yet? Hospitality suite, prom room, open(or not) bar, etc? If not, we need to do so and get a PayPal account set up for collections to make sure we can cover this.

t drops hot potato, runs far away

I've got all the price lists for a banquet room, catering, beverages and bar fee. I haven't had a chance to talk to the sales manager about what's available for a hospitality suite, but I've been assured facilities are available. They don't have their catering lists available on-line, so I'll send them to Ginger and maybe she can post them on the website so we can all look and them to see what we would like. They have quite a range of stuff available, so I think we'll be able to find enough for everyone to enjoy.

Banquet room: $250
Bartender: $80 per bartender (2 bartenders required for groups of 60 or more)
Carving station, Butler pass and Cocktail servers (I don't think we're going to get that fancy): $100 each
Additional beer bar available for a fee of $80.00 includes the bartender
