Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Brenda, I'll check on that tomorrow. I'm expecting a contract in the mail and I haven't tried calling to find that out yet.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Sadly, I will once again be missing the F2F. It's competing with a music festival I've already made plans to attend (I was one of the people who voted against the June 20th weekend).

In other news, FAQWife & I will be in San Francisco the weekend of May 30! We'll be free, I think, All day Saturday. Hopefully, we can meet up with some of the SFistas.

In other other news, some friends of mine are heading to an Francisco next month and were looking for hotel recommendations. It doesn't need to be dirt cheap, but they're not looking for the Ritz either. Any suggestions?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Jon, any ideas on what they'd like? Modern, old-skool, chain? All of the Kimptons are nice: [link]

I'm thinking that if they wanted a chain, they wouldn't be asking for advice, so maybe a couple of old-skool suggestions and a couple of modern ones?
