Juliana, I'd love to see your mother again!

F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Update on hotels:
As mentioned previously, both the Inn at the Park and the InnTowner are completey booked for the weekend of June 20-22.
I stopped by the Candlewood Suites today and just caught their sales coordinator on the way out the door. They do have more than enough rooms available for that weekend. Lucia is going to call me tomorrow so we can talk about more particulars. I'm more than happy to just go with Candlewood and not worry about trying to find other options. As late in the year as it is, I don't think we'll be finding much available in town that isn't in really poor locations.
Shall I go ahead and get the ball rolling?
Also, do we have an approximate head count of folks coming and/or number of rooms we might need? I don't want to sign off for more than we can deliver.
Thanks for the research, SailAweigh.
I'll be attending, but will be staying at the Madison Sheraton (and contributing to prom/everything else costs at wherever y'all decide to stay) so no need to worry about me for room counts.
Cool! You'll be about 2 miles up the road from me. At least you'll count for catering numbers, javachick. Every little bit helps.
I can't seem to get an answer on whether my time off will be approved but if it is I'll be there.
I say go for it, Sail.
Do we have a poll from back at the date choosing that might help give an idea of numbers?
That sounds good to me, Sail!
In other news, are any other librarian-type Buffistas going to be at ALA this summer?
Also my sister wants to come for prom. So plus one on those numbers.
We're planning on being there - Joe and I.
Voting for city yielded 59 votes. Voting on dates we dropped to 26. How many of those can actually attend is another matter. I don't want to commit to more than a block of 10 rooms with those numbers and I'm not even sure I should go that high.
