Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm good with anything, especially if it means that I get to see more people than I would otherwise.

Kathy, I'm going to email you my cell number. Thanks for arranging this!

I probably won't be back on the board at all for the rest of the day, so if someone can email or call me with the plan, that would be great.

Do we have any Buffistas in Denver? I'm going to be there late-ish tomorrow, with a connecting flight to DC. I'm afraid that if there are any issues, like weather in DC, I will be stranded there overnight

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm waiting to hear back from Maria, but if she's up for it, I'm leaning towards the Polish place, Podhalanka. It's at 1549 W. Division, so not too far north.

They open at 9:00, and I was wondering if y'all wanted to do breakfast, brunch, or lunch? ChiKat told me last night that she can join us if we can do this around 10:00 or so, but not if it'll be later (she has afternoon plans), but she's okay with not joining us if that time doesn't work for anyone else.

I'm open to any time, and I'll find out from Maria what works for her.

Brenda and shrift, what's best for you? Also, tommyrot, will you be able to join us as well?

I'm leaving my computer on tonight, and I'll be checking my e-mail as well as here. Let me know what you'd like to do!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

10 would probably work for me - my sister's here so she'd be along too.

X-posted in Beep Me:

For everyone in Chicagoland who would like to get up (relatively) early and join Maria for breakfast on (this) Sunday morning, we're getting together at Podhalanka for potato pancakes and pierogies (and other Polish yummies) at 10:00 a.m. at 1549 W. Division, at the corner of Division and Milwaukee.

I'm going to call in the morning and let them we'll have a minimum of five, with possibly a few more, and then check here before leaving my apartment around 8:00 to see if I need to add anymore. If I don't hear from anyone here (or at my profile addy), I look forward to seeing you at 10:00!!
