Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Thrive to spite them

I will not be at this F2F I was hoping i could swing it but there's some big thing at work and nope, no way. But next year I'll have leave time and everything!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, so you only go to WEST coast F2Fs. Fine then!

It IS rather perverse, isn't it? Since I'm arguably the most Easterly of the Buffistas. (Am I? Or is Australia further East? I should know that, I guess - bad teacher, no cookie...)

Still - yeah, if I can make it in 2009 that will certainly be something of a pattern. (Plus, this gives me time to think about saving up NOW. Not to mention another fantastic goal to look forward to in my ongoing weightloss campaign - Look Fabulous In A Backless Prom Dress By Spring 2009, kinda deal...)

In truth, though, now that I'm all careered up, I can't see myself making another F2F unless it's during the school holidays. So this year is definitely out, but I'm hoping that 2009 might not be.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I was going to say this was ironic, but I'm not entirely sure it is. Irritatingly, in any case, I may need to get a summer job to fake my way out of some certification requirement. Okay, no, it's not ironic. It is highly irritating, though. Summer is still very up in the air.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Well, we're closer to the International Date Line, so I guess we are.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And if you managed to straddle the International Date Line you could be both the most easterly and most westerly at the same time.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm still nosing around the internets looking at flight options. Is there any consensus on what's currently the best dirt-cheap flights finder?

Also, will there definitely be folks caravanning from, say, Chicago or other places?

Kathy A - Feb 19, 2008 10:55:32 am PST #7724 of 10002
We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yes, most definitely there will be Chicago-istas driving up with room available!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

And folks from Michigan driving through Chicago and could pick up at an airport also, as well. And stuff.
