Well, there's Greyhound in the $20 range. But I will most likely be driving down from Milwaukee, though Thursday or Friday is undecided at this point. I'll need to drop the dog there anyway.
ETA: Also Badger Bus from the airport, which is about the same cost but probably easier and nicer.

Speaking of airport plans, I think I'm going to fly in & out of Chicago for ease of seeing friends afterwards -- will there be a bunch of people driving up from there?

Not according to their website.
Badger Bus is $20 one way, $40 round trip, it's about an hour and a half ride.

Skybus flies out of CMH, and tickets to Milwaukee right now are $35 each way for the afternoon flight. Whee!
