Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh, man, oh, man - I want to go play. But looking at the calendar and my plans for July means I need to be a grown up and save cash. Don't wanna be a grown up.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

No don't be a grownup! I'm ignoring all kinds of sound financial planning so I can go.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

My plan is to drive up, so I will have a vehicle.

Woot!!!! F2F Madison!!!!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I will most likely be driving from Chicago by way of Milwaukee, so can possibly provide some transport to/from either of those places. But not on the beer trips.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Wait. There'll be lambic? Maybe I could swing something...

Most likely a trip to the local BevMo, unfortunately.

Stoopid "real life" with it's dumb "obligations" to "work", and "lack of cash".

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Alas, the weekend we can't make it won. (We have a con that weekend we don't want to miss)

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Bummer, Sheryl.

I lucked out; although the 21st isn't ideal for me, it is one of the weekends I think ND and I should both be able to make...hopefully...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm just glad to have a 2 1/2 hour drive instead of having to fly....

Hey, we might need catering for the Prom, right? My sis and her GF are excellent caterers....

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm considering flying into Chicago and renting a car.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

tommyrot, you might want to mention that to Cashmere. She's going to be doing the initial rounds of negotiating with hotels. Having alternate options might be a good thing for her to have ready to deal with.
