Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

Mostly lurking...

Is anyone at the hotel still up? I'm wondering if the rooms have hair blow-driers.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I get a prezzie??

It's wee.

recoils. considers. uncoils, warily.

...I trust we are being Scottish here. Yes. If I'm wrong, lie to me.

bounces wakefully

...so nobody else is up, then? 4.49. Hmm. Should probably go back to sleep for a couple of hours...but I did get more than six hours sleep, which is my usual amount.

Hmm.

'kay then.

SAN FRANCISCO, BAYBEE!!!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

recoils. considers. uncoils, warily.
It is a wee gift, in that it is small, tiny and of no actual significance. I promise.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm wondering if the rooms have hair blow-driers.

Yes.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, I am up. although in my jammies working in the HS. Brenda arrived and is sleeping.

I have tea that I believe Fay brought and it is yummy.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

ION, this is one of those hotels that has no place to plug a laptop in without unplugging a light.

I didn't have to unplug a light (I'm in a single, so that may be why), but the one usable outlet is on the opposite side of the room from the table, so I had to move the table closer for the cord to reach. It's still WAY better than the situation last year because the wireless actually works in the rooms.

Hi DX!

The first room I was in I had to move the table to the other side of the room. The room I am in now has a whole empty outlet, yeah not where the table is.

ION, I just ate one of the cookies that Deb made. Oh my I am most surely dead from the yummy melt in your mouth goodness. I think I must have a second one to revive me.

Because books.

I have packed. My suitcase is likely to explode when I unzip it, due to being copiously stuffed, but I'll deal with that when the time comes.

I have my 14-year-old's MP3 player loaded, my 9-year-old's handheld Tetris, two books for the plane(s), and my ticket (actually, printed email fascimile of same), and gum and cough drops and more gum.

I'm bouncing into the shower (dangerous!) and then will be heading for the airport. Wheeee! See you all in San Francisco!
