The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Okay, but if you don't, I'm going to have to tell him where you live...

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Whew. Finally got caught up. You folks squeed enough in here for me to hear it on the plane, I swear. Made me want to hie straight in here, but I sauntered through the thread so I could enjoy the pictures from the HS and all the lovely banter. So. Many. Foamy. Buffistas! Whoo. I'm nearly dead from it.

Now that I am caught up, I may just have to call it a night and go flop on the airbed that Perkins has set up for me. After all, it's 2:50 am to me. Pussies.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That's blackmail.

That's really effective blackmail.

He bruised me through hiking socks. Still ... he's cute.

I'm up. I'm up. Really. I'm like awake or something.

I think I must be REALLY excited (either that I really did throw up my meds last night when I puked three times), because I barely slept.

Must Pack. Must Shower. First Coffee.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I pounced on Kate while she was busy listening to messages which I had cagily left on her phone. Pete reports that I "scampered" up to them when I got them at the airport. I dispute this categorically. It was more of a gambol.

OK, HAR. BTW Hec, I forgot to tell you I did finally get your voicemails entreating L and myself to meet you outside the hotel on Tuesday. I'm sorry I wasn't more reachable! It all worked out though, right!?

Went to dinner at Brandy Ho's and then wandered up North Beach to City books. Then up Columbus and down either Grant or Greene, and ended up passing by Grant & Greene and the MONKEY NOODLE BAR which I wish we'd have poked around to find before having Hunan. (though it was delicious)

Went and listened to great jazz at Pearl's. I only really cried once in public. It was a good night. Then we came back to the hotel and I availed myself of the very convenient 24 hour curry place open across the street from the hotel (the Hilton, not the HICC). Man, I love this town.

Also, Tom is DRUNK. Which is funny.

I am just getting to bed! Because, see, because... the 24 hour curry place! And the... stuff. Oops, time for bed.

Hee! It's just funny talking to you as you go to bed and we get up.
