On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, crap, I really want to come to the F2F now. I'm all Nostalgia Girl. The Prom! Tiaras! I even have a couple of nice evening dresses RIGHT HERE! OMG, and I could totally get something else tailor made in time, if I wanted to!

Conceivably I might be able to wrangle another date, although probably not. But conceivably. In my favour I've not had any sick days so far. But... well. We'll see how it goes.

Ann, that's a ferret.

who's in for dinner on Friday?

We're in if we can get there in time. Teddy needs his capsule at 6:30. After that, it's at least 30-45 minutes to get downtown, if we're lucky.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm not able to attend anything before middle of May, but will live vicariously through y'all and pictures if it tkes place before then.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

June would be much better for me. Don't know if I could even do before then. It would depend on the dates. But, the later in the calendar, the better.

but will live vicariously through y'all and pictures if it tkes place before then.

And this. I can always look and drool. I'd probably do that in person anyway.

I would totally do Minneapolis.

And OMG how much would I love to see the Buffistas take on the Mall of America?!?!?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

There is the amusement park in the middle....

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

who's in for dinner on Friday?

I only just managed to piggyback onto one of the neighbors' wifi, and I know I won't catch it in the morning (I was using my friend's work computer earlier, but could only drop in for a second), anyway, long-winded way to say I can't hit b.org at all tomorrow, so please call if/when things firm up?

Thanks again, Vortex.

Sparky, if you can't make dinner tomorrow, I'll give you a call to figure details out. Thanks.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I would totally do Minneapolis.

BTDT, Trudy. :)

A couple times. After all, the first time there was a whole drag king convention in town. AND I was staying with juliana. AND we brought the tequila to the afterparty...

The second time, though, there was more actual doing, as it were. :)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I went to Minneapolis eons ago, for my college roommate's wedding. I didn't see much of the place, what with the wedding whirlwnd and all.
