flirt with purdy girls
There were purdy girls to flirt with (besides the attending Buffistas)? Rats.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Well, actually, it was mostly the attending Buffistas. We're very pretty!
I'm so glad everyone had fun! I don't think I'll need any more fried food until mid-2008, but that was some lovely stuff. And the company was excellent, and it was just fun to slounge about listening to dirty songs and admiring all our purdy (and I'd forgotten how pretty my pirate-song friends are -- it was fun just to look at them, too).
Trudy, glad to hear you got back safely. What's up with the snowy roads thing? We don't have that in Canada (yet ... in my part of it anyway). Y'all should do something about that wintery climate you have there. ::snicker:: S'funny, the cab fare thing reminded of this time years ago when I was in a carful of folks coming back from Ithaca NY, and none of us had kept enough US cash to pay the toll on the turnpike. So yeah, I sympathized.
Drew! Saw your confirmation above. Let's chat next week.
::waves to everyone::
Seattle people - still looking for hotel names - downtown. price is not the biggest concern - more walkablity - and a bit of atmosphere.
We stayed at a great hotel downtown in Seattle last year. I want to say it was Guacho's or something like that. Kristin do you remember the name? It was a wonderful little boutique hotel.
Kristin (and a bit of googling) reveals it's the Inn at El Gaucho. [link]

That's the one. It was a great hotel and in a great location. You can walk to Pike's Place Market.

Sorry Beth! I got busy. (Also, none of us really *stay* in hotels here!)
I'm trying to remember which of the places Lee stayed at gave her champagne and chocolate strawberries. It was also downtown. As was the one where the valet thought we were possibly drunk, when we were really just high on SPN.
yes, but i know there have been bunches of people up there - so I should bug Lee to see where she stayed
I don't remember which was the champagne and strawberries one, but both Cass and I liked the Roosevelt a lot [link]
That was the valet one.
eta: how easy was that, Beth?
